Perfection
In the exploration of human understanding the concept of perfection manifests in various forms, reflecting diverse perspectives from spiritual guides across epochs. Whether drawing from the wisdom of Buddha, the profound insights of ancient texts, or the contemporary revelations of modern sages, each perspective offers a unique facet of understanding. Together, they paint a picture of perfection that invites us to embrace the complexity of existence.
Embedded within these teachings lies a fundamental truth about the perfection of reality often obscured by dualistic viewpoints. Viewed from the lens of duality, that familiar viewpoint which results from thought and depends on opposites, we have come to believe in ideas such as perfect vs. imperfect, good vs. evil, life vs. death, and so forth. However, when we know ourselves at the deepest level, as the Absolute, it becomes clear that all is perfect - how could it be otherwise? Any sense to the contrary is the result of our identifying with a limited version of ourselves.
In the totality of life, every part contributes to the harmony of the whole, illustrating the inherent perfection woven into the fabric of existence. This realization invites us to surrender to the rhythm of life, to trust in the innate perfection that permeates every facet of our being. It is a call to stillness, a call to cease the incessant striving and simply be - to relax and to rest.
For us to realize life’s perfection requires us to overcome our limiting beliefs in order that we can be available to the possibility of a deeper truth. Perfection is not a destination to be reached through external striving, rather it’s an intrinsic quality to be recognized as it permeates every aspect of our being. By recognizing the perfection of reality we experience the acceptance of ourselves and the world around us.
Quotes
All is perfect, so perfectly perfect!
Whatever being lives, moves
And breathes on Earth
At every level from atom
To galaxy is absolutely perfect in its place
Precise and choreographed,
Because "That" flows from the Glory of God,
The Lord,
The Self,
Consciousness,
The Source,
Awareness, Peace and Love,
And is therefore perfect.
~ The Isa Upanishad - First Verse
Consider that the desire to be other than you are, to feel differently about yourself or your life, is only a thought distracting you from what is in perfect order, silent and peaceful at a deeper level within you.
~ Jac O’Keeffe
No, you are not good enough. You are perfect and complete from before the beginning of time.
~ Mooji
Trying to make the wrong
right
can be an avoidance of perfection
We are free
before we think something
needs changing
so we can feel free
Every thought believed
then reacted to
solidifies the identity
All the effort to change
something locks you out
of pure awareness
You are not
your opinion of yourself
or anything else
for that matter
You have always been
the security that has
been sought after eternally.
~Stuart Schwartz
People imagine that they must somehow change themselves
from imperfect human beings into perfect ones known as sages.
The absurdity is that the one thinking along these lines is himself a fiction.
~ Ramesh Balsekar
The world is perfect. As you question your mind, this becomes more and more obvious.
~ Byron Katie
Always remember all is well.
All is well.
All is perfectly well.
Never forget that.
Do not think about it.
Do not try to analyze it.
Just accept it in your heart.
All is well, period, end.
~ Robert Adams
There was never any more inception than there is now, Nor any more youth or age than there is now; And will never be any more perfection than there is now, Nor any more heaven or hell than there is now.
~ Walt Whitman
Be still. Stop struggling. Enter the holy shrine of your heart, and there find peace and joy. You have always been perfect and you will always be perfect. There's absolutely nothing you have to delete or add.
~ Robert Adams
Love is the ability to see every circumstance and every being as perfect just as they are...It is the total acceptance of all things.
~ Anam Thubten
We think that if we just meditated enough or jogged enough or ate perfect food, everything would be perfect. But from the point of view of someone who is awake, that’s death. Seeking security or perfection, rejoicing in feeling confirmed and whole, self-contained and comfortable, is some kind of death. It doesn’t have any fresh air. There’s no room for something to come in and interrupt all that. We are killing the moment by controlling our experience.
~ Pema Chödrön
Ram Tzu knows this –
You are perfect.
Your every defect
is perfectly defined.
Your every blemish
is perfectly placed.
Your every absurd action
is perfectly timed.
Only God could make
Something this ridiculous
Work.
~ Ram Tzu (Wayne Liquorman)
While you are trying to fix yourself or become more than you are, you are constantly denying that you are already absolutely perfectly whole as you are.
~ Unmani Liza Hyde
The pivot of Tao passes through the center where all affirmations and denials converge.
So you are neither perfect nor imperfect.
Neither right nor wrong"
Neither good nor evil.
Neither yin nor yang.
Neither this”nor that.”
You are, instead, only the empty space in which all of these apparent opposites appear-to-appear.
~ Chuang Tzu
We recognize that everything is okay the way it is, that everything about you already is okay. The body-mind is arising here, everything that arises here is perfect already, as well. That would mean that other people, the way they are, that's okay also.
~ Neelam

~ Meister Eckhart
Satsang is a chance to finally rest from all seeking and struggle and to experience directly the completeness and perfection of your Being.
~ Nirmala
No need to believe or disbelieve. Don’t interfere. You can’t improve the already perfect. Just stay quiet and empty - let life play.
~ Mooji
We have to recognize, wherever you are that's perfect. Wherever you are that's the beginning, that's the path to freedom. Where you are, not anywhere else.
~ Neelam
We are here for the Holy to unfold through us. There is not a single one left out of that. Not a single one in whom the process of unfolding is not happening, just perfectly.
~ Jeannie Zandi
Don't be so quick to believe in the mind's projections. You are not the mind. Don't come under its spell. The mind is a great magician. It has hypnotized 7 billion human beings. In the realm of personhood, it is full of tricks and has the power to make a lot of mischief, confusion, distortion and delusion. But yours is a greater power. It is the power of the pure Self. The power to observe with detachment, to recognize that all phenomena are transient appearances and that oneself is the formless witness, timeless and ever-perfect.
~ Mooji
Recognize the perfect realization of Reality and be what you are. Everything is exactly the way it is, because Being has manifested itself this way and not otherwise.
~ Karl Renz
I’ve been teaching (or whatever you want to call this) for a good few years now. I’ve spoken hundreds of thousands of words to thousands of people in dozens of countries. And it strikes me, after all these years, that what I share really boils down to something very, very simple indeed: that even in your imperfection, you are perfect exactly as you are.
~ Jeff Foster
We're talking about a peace that surpasses all relative knowing, so it is a peace that can coexist with whatever is happening in the manifest world. You can still have responses to things. You can still have likes and dislikes, preferences about how you would run things if you were in charge. But the underlying peace is recognition that you are in fact not running things; everything that exists in this moment is the perfect functioning of the Universe, not some accomplishment or mistake on the part of either the Universe or you.
-~ Wayne Liquorman
Peace is always present.
Get rid of the disturbances to Peace.
This Peace is the Self.
The thoughts are the disturbances.
When free from them,
you are Infinite Intelligence, i.e., the Self.
There is Perfection and Peace.
~ Sri Ramana Maharshi
You are free when you discover that your flaws are part of the Great Perfection, that your accidents are part of the Great Synchronicity, that your chaos is part of the Great Harmony, that your missteps are part of the Great Dance.
~ Michael Rodriquez
There is nothing to do, yet doing happens. There is nothing to take personal responsibility for, yet responsibility happens. Do not be concerned with the particulars of manifestation in this way. Do not attach to ideas of how manifestations should be. An arrogant human mind will imagine that it can improve on manifestation. May everything be as it is.
~ Jac O'Keeffe
